我现在读一年级了，随着认字数量的增加，书籍阅读量的增多，对垃圾分类的重要意义有了更充分的认识。

首先，垃圾分类可以减少环境污染。

垃圾中包括的有毒、不易降解的物质等，都会对土地造成严重侵蚀。比如一节干电池可使几十平方米的土地受到污染，影响农民伯伯庄稼的生长。

其次，垃圾分类可以变废为宝。

垃圾中的可回收和其他垃圾可以被重新回收利用。比如过期食品、木头可以生产有机肥料，易拉罐熔化后可以生成铝块二次利用。

最后，垃圾分类提高环保意识，促进城市文明。
