My greatest achievement

Good morning, ladies and gentlemen:

Maybe you think I'm going to frame a scene, ask you a question, and then bring up a great achievement in my life, like I successfully climbed Mount Tai, or I won a prize in some contests. I wish very much that these were true. Unfortunately, I never did any of these things.

I think my greatest achievement in life is to be who I am now.

Everyone may have written a composition named of "my dream" .I can still remember clearly that some students want to be a scientist and some want to be an astronaut. Cool, isn't it? But my dream is to become a teacher. In those notebooks full of children’s dreams, my ambition seems to be too normal.

In the past, I had low self-esteem and felt that I was worthless and accomplished nothing, afraid that I would do something wrong or offend someone. By working as a tutor during the summer holiday, I gained some experience which was different from that in school. I gradually understand that confidence comes from the knowledge I have learned and the experience I have accumulated in life. I dare to challenge myself, rather than fear failure.

More than ten years later, I can say to myself, I have never strayed on the road to become a teacher, so, my greatest achievement is to be who I am now.
